Organix 2010 Organ Festival (May 3 - 31, 2010)

Welcome to the fifth annual ORGANIX festival! ORGANIX features the thrilling sound and sights of the magnificent pipe organ, “The King of Instruments.” Once again, you can discover how ORGANIX is unlike any other festival. As an added bonus to the exceptional musicianship of our international and local artists, organists and instrumentalists, the two General Admission concerts of the three-concert International Series are free for those 18 years of age and younger. The Monday lunch-time series downtown at Holy Trinity Church – Eaton Centre is free for everyone (donations welcomed). This year one of our International Series concerts offers a tax receipt for all donations over $ 20.00. That concert with Maestro James David Christie is a fundraising event in support of the fine and rare mechanical-action organ at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. With great music-making throughout the month, plan to experience ORGANIX from May 3 – May 31!

Timothy Minthorn and Classical Recording Toronto are sponsoring the Organix'10 Festival this year and will be producing several concert recordings from the festival.
